💡 Weekend tipsTip hujung minggu

  • The Sky Mirror only appears around the new and full moon at low tide, and boats run to a tide timetable — book a specific date and time in advance rather than turning up.
  • Fireflies are best on a dark, dry, windless night. Rain or a bright moon thins them out noticeably, and camera flashes are not allowed on the boats.
  • Bukit Melawati's monkeys will take food straight out of your hand or bag. Keep plastic bags out of sight.
  • Sekinchan's paddy is green for a few weeks after planting and gold before harvest — roughly twice a year. In between it is bare mud, so check before driving up for the photos.
